If you haven't seen this yet it is an interesting read and I kinda called it in an earlier post by saying there is no difference in multiple helmets as long as they are fitted correctly and that the equipment mangers aren't very fond of it because of the extra work, just the NFL covering their asses.

Riddell out as official helmet provider of the NFL. As seen here:
NFL to end official helmet deal with Riddell after 2013-14 season - ESPN As a helmet collector this makes me excited (no not that way, well maybe a little) to see if the NFL will now grant licenses to other manufactures to make collectible helmets and such and to see where helmet technology goes from here since now the NFL is now free to back other companies that may come up with something safer. |
