So basically the offense doesn't look the way you want? It's hard to argue with the bottom line though, they're top 10 in yards and points again this year. As far as wins go I'd look to the other side of the ball to figure out why we're only 3-6. I know you don't like to hear that he's throwing more and running less as it goes against your off the wall exaggerations. I'll never understand why people like you want to force him to be a pure pocket passer when he has the crazy athletic skills that he does. I'm sure in time the plan is to have him running less and operating out of the pocket more, as indicated by the fact his passes are up this year and runs are down, but given the fact he was rehabbing his knee all offseason they weren't able to work on developing his passing skills as much as they would have liked. good debates in this thread, as for QB goes I don't blink an eye even today for RG3. The dude is a true "FRANCHISE" QB and u can't pass that up. As for coaching..... I'm just about ready for a change, especially if we end up below .500

Kaepernick has had an extra year and one may argue that he still is not pro ready. Wilson and Tannehill have had their struggles with moving to the pros. Even Luck has moments when you doubt his pro readiness.
Spending a boatload of picks on RGIII doesn't mean we should expect to get instant Peyton Manning.

At the end of the day growing pains are to be expected with young QBs.
I still find it amazing we spend so much time focused on the side of the ball that is actually having success. |

The Shanny hire wasnt bad, about getting the house in order more than anything. Organization is in a much better place than it was before. Shanny has alot to do with that. Has it transfered to wins on the field, not exactly which is disappointing. Like I said before, i dont really care if he stays or goes. I just dont want a knee jerk hire which sets us back...and like you said before, this team is not that far off which I believe is true.

Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
For those complaining about the offense:
Offense Points: Avg 25.6 (9th) Yards: Avg 410.4 (5th) Pass Yards: 259.2 (10th) Rush Yards: 151.2 (3rd) Defense Points: Avg 31.9 (31st) Yards: Avg 388.6 (27th) Pass Yards: 274.8 (26th) Rush Yards: 113.8 (16th) We have a 6th ranked offense and a 25th ranked defense. So this is what I'm reading from you guys: RGIII is not a pro quarterback, the zone-blocking scheme doesn't work, Kyle Shanahan needs to be fired, the offensive line is horrible, the offense isn't scoring enough points. The defense gives up 31.9 points per ball game - 31st in the league. The offense scores 25.6 points per ball game - 9th in the league. So a 9th ranked scoring offense warrants being blown up while nobody talks about the 31st ranked defense giving up over 30 points a ball game? Amazing. SMH. Instead of going with a new direction on defense (and special teams), bringing their rank up from 31st (in points allowed) to say, 16th (middle of the road) and maintaining a top 10 offense in scoring, there's no way this team improves in the win column? You're not willing to address the specific areas that need address, you'd rather hit the nuke button on the whole thing? I'm so glad you guys aren't GM's and coaches.

Matty had the best point a few posts ago, everyone is looking at the wrong side of the ball. Look to the D and Special Teams to be able to field a winner, not the offense.
