True, but again, Eli has two rings and that earns him the right to play through his slump. Big difference w/ rings and draft pick status.

Basically, you point out correctly WHY Eli isn't going to sit despite his performance, and you're missing why Griffin is in an identical situation here. Kirk Cousins is Ryan Nassib. He shouldn't play unless the starter can't go.
