I like Teddy B a lot and if I were Houston I would take him. That said, let's not get carried away with Teddy B praise.

IMO Quake is right when he says that Bobby Gryphon easily would be the first pick in this draft.

Griffin is undervalued across the league right now because of Shanahan stench, but he was overvalued on draft day. In another draft cycle, I don't think people would have been as optimistic about him as they were. He's a first round quarterback in any draft the last 20 years, but the teflon nature of his draft stock was unique to his Heisman campaign. If he comes out a year before or a year later, he gets graded more critically.

Two years ago, negative things said about him rolled right off of him. This town has changed the narrative. Negativity sticks to him now.

Unfortunately for the Redskins, the only choices they had was to pay the additional price for the overvalued stock, or to not get the player. There wasn't a middle ground.
