It looks like those big name and big pay days are gone with this team. I am fine with that, just need to make sure we have some good drafts and develop our players in the upcoming drafts.

I guess so, but i think he will still want a deal comparable to the deals given today. If he is released it may help us get Talib at a cheaper price since the Pats have interest in Revis.

That's the kind of idea I'm on board with. I don't think there's any young talent left in FA worth giving big money too, I wouldn't mind giving a short term deal to someone like Revis with a lot left to prove. Worst case, he doesn't fill a need, best case, think Randy Moss with the Pats type resurgence.
