I think resign Moss is just to have that veteran presence in the locker room. He might be fighting for a roster spot in camp .

Why not sign him? I don't know if it's urgency as much as two sides in agreement and getting it done. Unless the deal is out of the ballpark bad, I doubt it cost anything to have him here through the offseason.

That would probably be true if Vinny were handling the contract.

UNbelievable, this guy needed to go last year and now Skins fans have to put up with him for another year. The only good thing is that this is only a 1 year deal.

He could still be cut.

He's here because the Shanny regime couldnt draft or develop anybody. Not the worse thing in the world, but he will have to earn his spot for sure.

Yeah, we "put up" with his 42 receptions and countless clutch 1st-down conversions as a part-time reserve player. He saved a lot of drives last season.

You're acting like we just signed him to be a starter.

Dont forget his drive killing drops, fumbles, and how he disappeared in the red zone.

So I just imaged the 10 touchdowns as a part-time, #4 WR the last two seasons? That's a TD catch for every 8 receptions.

He lost 2 fumbles last season and one in 2012.

When it comes to Moss, some of you are hallucinating. He's not the #1 option like he was in the Monday Night Miracle days but he's been a solid veteran reserve and team leader...and we're not paying him much to stay around.

Vet minimum deal. Can't imagine there are any complaints now. Not even from Irish.

It's clear Gruden is going to have everyone compete. Aside from Pierre and Roberts, I don't think we know where anybody stands in the pecking order.
