To me, the outrage over the video is somewhat naïve. I mean really, do you know the force it takes to knock someone unconscious? Even for few moments? When the story was first told it sounded more like he pushed her and she hit her head. That was the story Rice and his wife were saying. You can in the video see her hitting her head. Plus there wasn't a picture of her face with damage.

Because the prosecutor went so light on him, the NFL sent so light on him, and that was both of their stories I really didn't expect a punch like that.
