Re: Giants Game Negatives

This game was a real low point, no doubt. But there's a lot of the season left, and we will see what these guys (including our coaches) are made of.

There are, as we will all recall, some losses that are seared into your memory. For me, the body bag game in Philly was one, the playoff loss to Seattle (when I was yelling "He's hurt -- pull him you f_ing idiot!" in front of my young children), the merciless beat-down from the Patriots a number of years ago, the whole Babe Laufenberg thing, the loss to the Giants in the 1986 playoffs, the torching by the Raiders in the Superbowl -- those all stand out as particularly painful. Last night was probably not quite on par with those, but it wasn't far off either. After seeing such promise by the D and O in prior weeks (albeit with not much to show for it), the complete meltdown from last night was very frustrating.

But it's time to man up and get ready for Seattle. No time to for the team to whine about what happened last night -- they cannot change it.
