Re: Skins vs. Cards Pregame Thread
If they start Logan I hope they have better success containing the QB. He can make plays with his feet and I think he's faster than Wilson too. Plus like Quake said QB's that don't have any film on them kill the Redskins historically.

If the Skins dont win this game against with LT playing then 2014 is officially over.

Re: Skins vs. Cards Pregame Thread
Arians may also be thinking that it is smarter to start the rookie against a weak team like the Redskins (at home) to get his #1 and #2 more time to get healthy. I suspect that Gruden may have had similar thoughts about not playing Reed last week, as it sounded like he was close to ready before the game -- i.e., why subject him to the Seahawks D and a team we're unlikely to beat if he's not 100% and we will need him for the rest of the season?

Re: Skins vs. Cards Pregame Thread
No, but I read that they're taking things very slowly with him, as nerve damage is susceptible to relapse. Having said that, he's shown a lot of improvement this past week, and so I think no one knows. But Arians, with the Redskins coming to town, may not want to risk the relapse against a team that he believes they can and should beat even without Palmer.
Either way, the Redskins absolutely have to generate pressure and hit whomever is under center.

Re: Skins vs. Cards Pregame Thread
I think this is actually, relative to the discrepancy in our records, a pretty favorable match up for the Redskins. If we win this one, we have a few easy games coming up, and we could make it to the bye with a decent record. Got to hold on to hope:
Redskins: 27 Cardinals: 24 (almost every cardinals game I can remember was won or lost by 3 points) |

Re: Skins vs. Cards Pregame Thread
At this point I hope we win (1) game, hopefully get the #1 pick and try this QB thing again.. The problem is we never suck bad enough. Just think, we were (1) pick away from having a franchise QB.

Isn't RG3 our franchise quarterback? Are we giving up on him now?

Re: Skins vs. Cards Pregame Thread
People want a Tom Brady, Drew Breez, or Peyton Manning. Only problem is they are unique talents. Also it took time to develop them and to add other talent around them. Theses QBs have to have the best o-lines, the best WRs. Notice how Breez and Brady are not dominating like they used to.

Re: Skins vs. Cards Pregame Thread
Hard to be a franchise QB when you spend half your career holding a clipboard on the sideline. And you can't throw out of the pocket.
