But seriously, Gruden has shown he's not pro HC material, by a long shot. He's far from an x's and o's genius, though everybody knew that before he was hired right? I felt like the bet was on his leadership skills. But he doesn't have any. Coming out from a bye week his team, offense especially, was sloppy and unprepared.

Nobody at Redskins park is buying into Gruden's program, whatever it is.

And Allen has given us half a quality season in 5 years. He's got to be among the very worst GM's in pro football at this point. You have to wonder WTF is going on with Snyder and the whole franchise.
Do you really want to go down the list and name coaches that took over bad teams and had bad first years?

It could be pretty fun. Here's the recent list of coaches taking over teams with a bad record and turning things around in just one season:

- Reid in KC
- Caldwell in Detroit
- Pettine in Cleveland

There's got to be more, I'm too busy to research right now.

Again, Gruden hasn't shown any indication he's anywhere near ready to be a pro HC. Sloppy, unprepared and often unmotivated team, especially his unit on offense.

His x's and o's are maybe worse than leadership qualities too, but that was issue going back to Cincy and nobody should be surprised there.

KC was LOADED with talent, with something like 8 guys in the Pro Bowl from the team that Reid inherited. Same story with Caldwell inheriting a loaded roster in Detroit. Of note, both KC and Detroit have elite players on their D-lines, and both get solid play out of the QB position. Reid does deserve credit for signing Alex Smith as one of his first official moves in KC. As for Pettine, he seems to be doing it with smoke and mirrors, and I don't expect Cleveland to stay atop their division.
