Re: Skins vs. Niners Gameday Thread
Count me as one who won't give up on RGIII, Moses really didn't help his cause, they play one of the best defenses (if not the best in the NFL). Last year he was rushed back when he should have sat the 1st 5 games, this year he got hurt early and is learning to play out of the pocket. I know he's been horrible in some games, the FO gave up a lot for him and I say gamble and bring him back for next year. OL should be better with Moses and Long with a year under their belt, if necessary draft an OL or G with their draft pick. I would trade back and pick up more picks next year.

I don't remember the line being so awful when McCoy or even when Cousins was back there. Was the oline worlds better? Hell no, but they were at least you know, not looking confused and shit. That's part of the reason why I wanna see more McCoy. If McCoy can get back there and put up 200+ yards and a couple of TDs a game at minimum, then I'd feel the fault would lay more on RG3 than the line. If McCoy gets back there and is running for his life, getting sacked, throwing INTs, then we kill 2 birds with one stone; McCoy and the line sucks as well and maybe RG3 is just a scapegoat for a bigger issue.

RGIII is in the shotgun and then drops back 5 steps but yet still is pressured in 2.5 seconds

It's time for bruce Allen to get out of the gm business.
I'm officially on the "time to get a new gm and yank personel decisions from bruce" track. Let him do the contracts, look for a new stadium and fight the name change duties. But fuck him and his choices. Time to bring in a new gm

Re: Skins vs. Niners Gameday Thread
Did you not listen to a god damn thing being said this past week from the head coach and from other professionals that break down film? Apparently you had your head buried in the sand the entire time. Otherwise, you'd understand the answer to your question.

Re: Skins vs. Niners Gameday Thread
I'm not big on the OL excuse myself, but it seemed like today RG3 was facing some pretty quick pressures more often than not.
Still, bottom line he needed to play a lot better. |

Re: Skins vs. Niners Gameday Thread
I'm not to sure I'm on the "Get rid of RGIII" Wagon just yet. Especially today. I'm sorry, but when his line looked so bad that they couldn't block a crawling baby, then it's not really on him. When the play calling really doesn't involve a pass play over 10 yards, not really on him... execution? ok, i'll give on that one. But when the skins O line keeps falling apart, it's not to surprising that we have a QB who is a little over cautious. I'm still hopeful. I think Gruden is a tool. He needs to shut his mouth and keep the dirty laundry behind closed doors. Not a fan of his.

Re: Skins vs. Niners Gameday Thread
It gets very old after a while. Keep hearing year after year about how bad the OL looks, yet they amazingly seem to look 5 times better when somebody else is in there. Do we have OL issues? You damn right we do, but they don't outweigh the issues with the QB.

That they are all wrong, all of them? All these people who know more about the game than you do say that this guy isn't good, isn't getting better, and isn't looking like he is likely to ever get better. Professionals say this and you think they all are lying? Or what?

Just because Griff does not throw a ball over 10 yards does not mean it wasnt called for. I suspect that as the experts break down the plays this week we will see yet more of the same. Wr's open downfield while Griff doesnt do his part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Skins vs. Niners Gameday Thread
I don't think any of our QBs are the answer. I'm really all about slapping a band aid on this gaping wound and hoping it holds until the end of the season at this point.
