Re: McCoy to Start Against Indy
Let me take a wild guess and say that Kyle wanted no part of it?
So you telling me it was lil Danny pushing Mike on that trade?

still think if rg3 goes we need to bring in someone at qb to throw in the mix. If not free agency, then gotta believe we would look mid round in the draft.

Re: McCoy to Start Against Indy
I guess mike would have rather stayed put and drafted tannehill?
Sucks the owner is still kinda making the draft decisions, especially if bruce was suspect of rg3 all along.

Mike liked Cousins Both liked RG3 but did not want to mortgage so much for him People in the organization pushed Snyder hard (and he in turn pushed Shanny) on the idea that RG3 would be great for the team on the field...but perhaps more importantly off the field But how many times have I told you there are non-football people in the organization with way too much influence over what football decisions the team makes This is better than it's been, but it's still a major, major issue

He's 2-0 mainly because Garçon made a huge play against Tennessee and the D pressured the heck outta Romo all night long. He's adequate enough to do what's asked within the offense he's just not a guy that can carry things. He's a backup not a long term answer. |

a strong case can be made to start either cousins or colt at this point.

Re: McCoy to Start Against Indy
was anyone else watching the terps game last night and then saw this huge red banner scroll across the bottom of their TV saying "NFL ALERT: Robert Griffin III blah blah blah ..."
the font was 3 times the size of the normal scrolling banner font. I thought for sure a current well-known nfl player was shot and killed. but no, it was just about the 3-8 skins decision as to who would start on sunday in a meaningless game ... |

I wonder how much influence Jon gruden has with Jay in this cluster of a situation. Gotta believe he is advising Jay, Jon really seemed to like Kirk cousin a whole lot in the past.

to be honest, when i saw how busted russell wilson's clingon girlfriend looked during the live shot of his reaction to being drafted ... i immediately questioned his decision making ability. **clingon refers to how clingy she looked, making sure any future women saw she had her hooks in him ... not a star trek ref. she might as well licked his face. |

The 4th quarter, 2 drives, and a win make Colt look incredible... but again, I say... He had 1 whole touchdown and 1 interception in 2 games played... The only Redskins QB to light up the scoreboard and hit DeSean deep this year is Cousins... I believe that Colt is starting because Jay HATES, I mean strongly HATES turnovers by his QB... and Colt will be a game manager who won't lose the game... but Cousins moves this offense and puts more points up than any other QB we have Also... I think it's Colt over Cousins right now because Jay thinks Colt gives us the best chance to win right at this moment... and he feels like he NEEDS the wins. Us fans don't mind losing from here on to get that great high draft pick (that we will just waste... ha)... but Jay is in his first Head Coaching job in the NFL, trying to live up to his brother's legacy, and sitting at 3-8... so I guess I understand why Colt... but man, I still say Cousins is the best move for the next 5 games to get clear gauge on the future... let's say it's yours from here out... no pressure... and see how he plays...
