I said this in another thread if things keep going this way sometime next year the Skins will have a losing regular season record for the first time since I was born. When I graduated high school the skins had plus 74 wins it is now plus 13 wins and falling fast.

Wow. There's some perspective for me today.
I too can't get on board anymore, it's just too hard to watch.

After seeing the great things my grandfather did here in the 80's-90's with Gibbs and the old timers turn into THIS!? It's almost personal.

Then....why in the world would you want to participate on a Skins board?

You are Wayne Sevier's grandson? He was a great coach!

I hope that some day the younger fans will be able to experience the thrill of being a Redskins fan that we older fans felt back then.

Kudos to the younger folks who stick with the team! It would be hard to remain loyal without having fan roots in the period between Kilmer and Rypien.

All I know is the losing days. I barely remember Rypien (as I wasn't watching football as a kid). So without any glory days in my memory, all I know are the Skins as a bunch of losers, so it doesn't hurt as bad as a fan watching the Skins "fall from glory" who's been around for decades.

Yep, and my emotional investment in this team is basically a 7 on a scale of 1-50 right now.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.
