Re: Redskins-Eagles Pre-Game Thread

One of the things that makes me nervous about this game is that the put 37 points on us last time, albeit with Foles and not Buttfumble. But still, they're playing for the playoffs and our D is terribly banged up. For this to be close, we will need bad Sanchez to show up -- fumbles and INTs. And we haven't forced a lot of those.

Here's a thought that may make me throw up -- the Cowboys clinching the playoffs at FedEx Field on 12/28. I almost hope we lose this week to the Eagles, and then stick it to the Cowboys next week and force them out of the playoffs. Not that I like the Eagles at all. But imagine Jerruh strutting around FedEx field high-fiving his players. Snyder might flip out and start firing everyone on the spot, including Mrs. Snyder and the janitorial staff. (Of course, I am willing to accept some collateral damage so long as at least some of the right folks get canned.)

I cannot believe that this is what the season has devolved into.
