Everyone talking about the last play, but the Seattle defense collapsed in the 4th quarter and Brady threw 4 tds against them.

Here is the thing, Tom wouldn't be a "choker" if they lost the game either. It works both ways. You guys give Tom way too much credit and discredit Belichick and that tremendous defense.

.
They put a stat up last night ,
Game winning drives in Super Bowls .....

Tom Brady 4
Joe Montana 2
Eli Manning 2

Tom out played the Hawks in the first and the fourth quarters ,when it came to crunch time in the Super Bowl he shows up . I agree NE has a team with talent but it is Belichick and Brady that can get all that talent to work together and that is what the hard thing to do is, that is coaching ,getting the next player to play just like the last one, consistency and team work is coaching and many talented teams can't get that right ,to do it 4 times in what 16 years (go 6 times) they are both the greatest of all time, people need to stop hating them for being great ,root against them sure but the hate is sad .

That's because the last play was the game. This was a Super Bowl, man. The only thing that matters to a team in the Super Bowl is winning it, no matter how well or poorly they played.

The game was on the line and the Seattle coaches got cute and blew the game. That's the story. It was a Beast Mode moment if there ever was one.

That was one of the most entertaining Super Bowls ever. From the viewpoint of a fan with no rooting (or betting) interest, it was a great game to watch.

It was. There are certain super bowls that are just great 4th quarters (like the giants vs the Patriots version 2). This one was entertaining the whole game.

I agree. Tom was throwing all the underneath stuff and their defense never adjusted.Where was the aggressive play from their corners like in last year's SB where they man handled those WRs? Keep in mind though, Lane and Anvril got hurt in that game. That's 2 starters down.

Puts Brady as one of the best of all time, if not the best. Pats had no running game and were one dimensional against a real good defense. Pretty much put the game in his hands with 50 passes and he delivered.

Absolutely. If you were rooting for the Pats though it was extra entertaining. Man Seattle had it in the bag. Unreal. Great game.

for sure, but if Seattle defense does its job it would never come down to that.

Another huge play was the Kearse drop on a perfectly thrown ball, over his shoulder which would have set up Seattle down on the Pats 25 yard line. That killed the momentum. Kearse effing sux, they got to get rid of him this offseason.

Perfect pass by Wilson. Dropped it right in there.

Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread

The only Seahawk I feel bad for this morning is Russell Wilson. He is the only guy on that team that I have complete respect for. As for the rest of the Seahawks, HAHA!

I still despise the New England Patriots about as much as the Cowboys, but I wasn't too upset over them getting their fourth Super Bowl title. I am almost certain it will be their last title, and I'm certain that the Seahawks will somehow make it back to the Super Bowl again next year (much to my dismay.) But I think the seahawks fans needed to experience some bitter disappointment, because they were getting quite cocky.

It was a hard catch and Butler made a good play if you watch it closely. Still those plays are the differences between winning a Super Bowl
