Actually I've read that it was clear channel that pulled the plug on Stern, not the FCC.
Kinda scary considering how the media is slowly but surely becoming tightly controlled by just a few companies. |

Yeah, Clear Channel is cutting down. That's why he's still on Viacomm stations.
The media starting to? The media is. Most TV/RADIO outlets are controlled by three companies. Very little in the way of independant stations are left. The last independant station in DC was DC 101 then they got bought out years ago. |
