Didn't know where to put this:

Seahawks move on from Tony McDaniel | ProFootballTalk

Do you think McLovin is on the phone with his agent. Just thinking/talking out loud.

Re: All things Redskins training camp

how good is he? they released him to save $2mill. I mean, i'm sure he improves our depth a lot, but does he start here? if not, I don't know why he'd come here to be a depth player.

They also have to pay some other guys and he is just the odd man out there, but does he fit with us for a scheme perspective??

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

i don't think it matters. he's going to go somewhere where he'll be a starter, which probably isn't here.

Says a lot about what fans think about upcoming season. Fan appreciation day will still be stupid packed.

Day 4 was the last day I attended. So I was going to post what I noticed while I was there. Take it how you want. I played college only at a Division II college level.

Just things that stood out to me.

-Matt Jones is huge and nimble! Although he's always looking to run someone over it gets him in trouble. He runs high a lot of the time and I can't tell if it's just because he's so big or he isn't keeping his pads low. He takes as many blows as he gives. Reminds me of Barber from Dallas a few years ago.

-Alfred Morris looks bigger this year. He's also looking great catching the football out of the backfield.

-Ryan Grant is going to win a spot on this team this year. If he doesn't, then someone will grab him. He gives even our starting DB's fits with his route running in 1v1's. He's so smooth out of his breaks and has great hands.

-Our offense is throwing a lot of check downs. Our defensive line gets such great penetration that RG3 gets rid of the ball to prevent the sack. I don't think it's because our offensive line is doing poorly because they seem to do great in individual drills, but because our Defensive Line is really going after it.

-I was not a supporter of the Joe Barry hire, but now I am. He is such a aggressive defensive coach and fired up everyday on the field. He demands respect on the field. He gets guys fired up for every play. Him and Callahan are fun to watch during practice coaching the guys up.

-We need to get Trent Williams signed. The guy is a WR playing offensive line. He absolutely destroyed Kerrigan all day yesterday.

-Trent Murphy reminds me of a poor mans Kerrigan. He doesn't get a lot of pressure on passing downs, but has a high motor. He's really getting after it, and if he had another 30 lbs on him would make a great penetrating DE. I don't see him starting on OLB week 1. He just seems to be a great depth guy for us. That's my opinion.

-Keenan Robinson is being used as a blitzing LB a lot in TC. He's getting to the QB a lot. I'm not sure if that's going to be our game plan with him this year or not. Or if they are just trying to get RG3 work with middle pressure and crashing the outsides so he can work on stepping up to the left/right side pockets.

-Jordan Reed is open almost every play. If he can stay healthy it will be great.

-The difference of having Breeland at Nickel and Rogers is night and day. Crowder had a huge day yesterday with Rogers in the slot. So did Roberts. The first 2 days you wouldn't of even known Roberts was on the field.

-M. Moses looks good this year. He struggled a few times against Kerrigan but that's to be expected against our best pass rusher. If they were to move Sherff to guard and have Moses at RT starting the season. I wouldn't be surprised.

If I can remember anything else. I'll add it here. I will say that it was a lot of fun watching these guys up close. If you have a question about a player. I could add what I saw, if I remember.

Washington Redskins rookie CB Tevin Mitchel likely out for season - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN

Very disappointing. Had high hopes for Mitchel.

I love this guy's playing style. Hopefully he's able to avoid serious injuries.

Re: All things Redskins training camp

Thanks again Bucket.

I'd love to see Moses develop into our RT with Scherff moving to G; mainly, because I think Scherff could be a great G rather than just a good T.

Sounds like this guy.

Marion Barber Stats - ESPN

Let's hope he won't be out of the league by 27-28 years old.

Re: All things Redskins training camp

From reading what Kiem had observed RG III looks much better this year, and not incompetent like many projected heading into camp.

Very excited about the new defensive players and adding Junior G may end up being a coup for the Skins. We have potentionally 4 starting OLB and 2 proven pass rushers. I can't complain about that. I am very happy so far from what I have read. If we can keep it together and win some games early in the season the defense may carry us at the end.

I can't wait to see this team in preseason.

I just want to be able to watch 16 games of Redskins football this year. The last two I haven't made it to the end before I started planning things on Sunday.
