DeSean Jackson has been diagnosed with a separated shoulder, and will be sidelined "a few weeks."

Per ESPN's Dianna Marie Russini, D-Jax is dealing with a Grade 2 separation. FOX Sports reports Jackson was injured by a blocking sled. The injury leaves him highly questionable for the preseason, but his Week 1 isn't in doubt from

Mr. Unstopable got whacked by a tackling dummy. He'll be fine by the beginning of the season.

I can't say enough good things about Jamison Crowder. He catches everything. Smooth. Tough. Was told coaches were initially did not want.

#Redskins coaches were very concerned about Crowder's lack of size. McCloughan LOVES him & won that battle Told ya pre-draft - JC is great.

For the questions about Crowder - it is simple. #Redskins coaches initially did not want Crowder because of his height. Scot thru tape went.

Predictably Russell makes it about himself, still some interesting info on Crowder.

Every time I see Crews, I think he can still play. Dude is awesome.

Russell is always over negative on everything. Even when he likes a guy. He will bash something else in the same sentence. Aka coaches

I heard that to. SM had to practically shove him down the coaching staff throats. Good on you SM!

Re: All things Redskins training camp

Always interesting to get your opponent's take on the day: 25 observations from #TexansCamp against Washington

Seems like they were wowed by Crowder. Not much else that they mentioned about the Redskins worth noting or repeating as the emphasis (understandably) is on Texans players.

Re: All things Redskins training camp

RG10 was 5-11 today.

Note.. He only threw from the pocket and no play action. Guess they were gaging his progress on pocket effectiveness

So typical of Russell, always patting himself on the back. He needs to fill out an application for a scout since he never misses on a player.

Aaron Wilson – Verified account ‏@AaronWilson_NFL

Colts awarded cornerback Tevin Mitchel off waivers from the Redskins and waived safety Robert Smith.

I'd be grateful if someone with insight as to how all this works could explain why we waived Mitchel. The reports coming out of camp were positive; I know he's out for the year, but wasn't there some way to save him and just designate him on IR? Colts sure pounced.
