I don't know if that means Cousins, or drafting a guy, or bringing in someone who's already established in the NFL but if we get halfway into this season and RG3 is still the RG3 who's been nothing if not a complete and utter disappointment the past couple of seasons, we need to cut our losses stat. You've had a whole off-season to study, heal and work. You've had 2 seasons with the playbook. I just don't see RG3 coming back if the Skins don't end the season at 8-8. I'd maybe even give him 6-10 but I feel like below .500 doesn't bode well for a guy who has been squandering chance after chance. And yeah he's been injured, but this is the year to put that injury excuse to bed.

You know who were Seattle's QBs in Pete Carroll's first two years when he was rebuilding that team? A washed up Matt Hasselbeck, Clipboard Jesus, Tavaris Jackson, JP Losman, and Josh Portis. Yet during those two years, he (with McCloughan on the front office staff), build the team that has been to two Superbowls. We're on year one of the rebuilding process, all the QBs on this roster could be gone by next season. And maybe this team won't have a QB of the future until next year or the next. But if we're following the Seattle blueprint, the team has to build a complete team and not be QB-obsessed.

If we're banking on another 2 or 3 years of moving pieces around to fit the RG3 script (which I assume is part of the bigger Redskins Projekt), I might have to look into getting a Valium prescription.

I don't think McCloughan is building around RG3; he might say he is, but I don't think he is.

I feel like RG3 either does decent and may earn himself a short deal or (the more likely situation) he blows harder than an F5 tornado. If the latter scenario plays out, what do you think the FO does?

He didn't go out and spend resources on a QB, and wanted to see what he can get out of the QBs currently on the roster. Kirk Cousins or Colt McCoy could very well be our QBs this season and maybe the next. The team can get rid of RG3 this year without losing much, I think he's gone by the end of the season barring some miracle.
