Shanarat is a good offensive mind, if he didn't have such an ego about wanting all the power he probably is still somewhere in the league.

Really, Kyle shanahan is the rose of all this clown show. He developed game plans that created RGIII - 2012 edition.

Griffin didn't know what was good for him. He should have never questioned/refused/been lukewarm to the read option. Now he's going to struggle just to save his NFL career.

Exactly. Dude snapped his ankle by planting and throwing on the run.

Shanahan badly mishandled his knee at the end of 2012 but RG3 is destined to be hurt often. He doesn't avoid contact well and doesn't sense pressure. When he gets hit he gets splattered like a bug on a windshield. Add in his speed and slight frame and you get carnage.

He should convert to WR a la Terrelle Pryor.

That kid was never the same after hurting the same knee, well knowing that he previously had reconstructive surgery on that knee, he risked letting him play till it tore again. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to say, "oh it's the same knee, let him heal". HE IS OUR FRANCHISE PLAYER!! (Was).

Yeah because, you know, you don't get hit or have to plant and make cuts as a WR.

Cousins is a little less horrid than RG3(though this is his chance to prove he is head and shoulders above his predecessor). Hopefully Jay will let him ride out his rough patches, not vacilate to McCoy the first time it happens.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season

This just goes to show you that all those training camp reports don't mean much of anything. And it seems that according to Gruden, KC has really improved and taken a jump in his 2nd year in the system.

I'm fine with some of his INTs if he is aggressive and opens up the passing game.
Brett Favre was always an INT guy but you knew with him in there you always had a chance. I think Cousins gives us that chance that RG3 could not.

It was a shame that the QB position up to this point was held hostage by RG3....we might have a completley different team guys overnight. Can't wait for week one...We could suddenly be chumps no longer

Does this mean KC will be any of those guys? Absolutely not, but it does mean that one game or several bad games does not in and of themselves a bad qb make.

Yeah, I certainly hope he does well, but I think it is better to assume that this year is going to be very very FRUSTRATING.

If our run game gets going, he might play really well, but the second we get into a shoot out it can get really ugly. The fact that our secondary is still suspect (at best), it's not likely going to be a good year.
