I would go with the first team offering a large bag of pretzels and a six-pack.
I cannot see anyone seeing him more than a major project.

even trading him for no picks saves us 3.7m, so that'd be a big win.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season

I have a horrible feeling that Jay Gruden gets fired and RG3 stays put, which means that the next new head coach would again start RG3. Has that ever happened in the NFL? Where the starting QB has been benched by two different head coaches for performance??

Can't imagine Scott would allow that to happen. My guess, the only way that would happen is if Scott and Jay are both gone.

IMO rg3 in dc is over. Gruden is under pressure and rightfully so now that he has hand picked who he wanted.

It was over when McC was hired, because this bullshit with Snyder interfering was done

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season

Snyder could get so pissed after another losing season that he blows the whole thing up and starts over. There were rumors earlier during pre-season that he was described as being "livid" when a QB change was suggested to him. It is obvious that it took heavy, heavy persuasion to get him to change his mind, and he most likely told both Scott M and Gruden, that if it didn't work this season, they were both gone, and he'd find someone else to coach RG3.

That's quite a bit of speculation. I'm sure he is partial to RGIII and that it took some persuasion but like Ron Wolf said, doubt scot takes job if he wasn't going to be allowed to do it his way.

Gruden is not Scot's hire so I can see JG getting fired if there is no significant progress this year.

Can we stop with the wild speculations already?

McCloughan isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season

If Snyder was stupid enough to fire Scotty after 1 season, after he drafted what seems to be some really good personnel to build a team around over the next few years, I would completely bail on this team and never look back.

I know Snyder can be stupid but hopefully never that stupid.

There have been several peeps IN the organization that have come out and STATED:
Unified front! All on board! All Agree on the RG3 deal Etc. Etc.

Re: Cousins to start 2015 Season

There was an article posted here a while back where Snyder was quoted as saying he really thought McCloughan had put a "fantastic" team together. What's his reaction gonna be like when he finds out it's not so fantastic? He's not exactly known for patience.
