Kirk may not be an elite QB but he is much more than "just a guy".
- Since 1960, only Kirk Cousins and two other Redskins QB's have thrown TD's in the first 9 games of a season. Those QB's were Sonny Jurgensen and Joe Theismann. - Kirk led the greatest comeback in Redskins history vs. the Bucs. - Kirk had a perfect passer rating against the Saints, throwing 4 TD passes. It's time to start recognizing him as the present and future QB of our team. The only question left in my mind is "When will the Redskins begin negotiations with his agent to try to sign him to a long-term contract?".
