Even if its for a 7th round pick...we should control where he goes and get something back in return.

NO one would trade for him. They only way we have him under contract is with the 16 million guarantee. So, to trade him, the new team would have to take that contract and that would be the starting point for his negotiations with that team.

Anyone interested in him will wait until he is cut.
