Re: 2016 Redskins Salary Cap Status
According to Rich Tandler........
dropping the following will save +/- $25-26 million in Cap space Djax saves 6.75M J Hatcher 4.23M D Goldson 8.00M P Riley 4.00M A Roberts 3.00M Goldson was a definite leader, BUT...he gave up some big plays, including the 1st Td against Green Bay. I know he was hurting late in the year, but he definitely looked a step slow to me. Anyway, for my money, I'd part with those guys above. Would definitely bring back DY. |

But I totally agree on the others. I for one am kind of tired of scraping by at MLB. I really want to see an athletic thumper in there. Partly because a stud MLB makes the team flat out better, and partly because I think a hard nosed tough as nails mentality at that spot is contagious and gives the rest of the team an edgy attitude and attacking mentality. I still want McC to go with his BPA, but it'd be fantastic if our first rounder ends up being MLB as BPA. Stout DLine would be good too.
