Re: Predict RGIII's next team
30gut, you're not about to go down that long and tiresome road again are you?
DYoungJelly, I can hardly believe you asked him that question. Didn't you see the trip wire across the trail? Next topic, please!

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
no team is going to mortgage their future trying to build around a guy that's showed no progress in being an NFL QB and has his injury history. they might add him as a backup and throw in some option plays and let give him 5 snaps a game as a change up, but no one is going in whole hog on a guy that's now in prove it mode.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
No progress? Griffin only played 5 games in Jays offense before he got benched of those 5 games only 2 were bad. You say no progress; I say not given time to develop.
Whether a team goes whole hog or not only time will tell. Right now a team would be able to acquire a very talented QB for very little cost. |

It would be great if a team would make us a deal for RG3. But you know that isn't happening. |

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
we still have rg3 apologists after all this time? he's proven he still can't read a defense, and reports from cooley and players on the team is he spent this last year on the scout team just going through the motions instead of making a real effort to get better. he's all hype and maybe andy reid can fix him, but anyone that thinks they should build their team around him at this point should be immediately fired.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
Only seven more days.
Pretty sad ending for our investment. Back in the day I told anyone that would listen that he was going to take us to three superbowls. My wife likes to "remind" me of that.

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
At this point, 2012 is soooooo 2012.
I say Chiefs as well if RGIII can accept sitting for another year. If he wants to start, and will only sign with a team giving that opportunity ... hellooooo Cleveland.

I wish him the best. Thanks for the magic of 2012. Good luck wherever he lands. With that said, I will be very surprised if he does anything other than end up a mediocre, journey man QB.

Not sure what Griffin was doing all year long, but I know he wasn't going to the lengths that Cousins was. Not saying that this is wrong by Griffin. I just get the feeling with him that he probably thinks nothing was ever his fault. He was outplayed the last TWO pre seasons by Cousins and that's why he lost the job for good. Griffin can probably still run pretty fast and throw it far. He might look good at the combine and pro days. But when the rush is actually coming at him, and he has to drop back 5 - 7 steps, he's exposed. The instincts to play QB aren't there. So to me it doesn't matter what his physical skills are, his skill to actually play QB are not there. |

I doubt a team trades for Griffin either. The time to trade him would have been last year prior to the season. I could see Griffin ending up somewhere on the QB carousel between Goff, Wentz and Kaep and the Browns, Texans, Rams, 49ers |

Re: Predict RGIII's next team
if he's smart, he goes to KC, if he's dumb, he goes to cleveland. SF is somewhere in between. it might work out, it might be a disaster.
