On the Sproles hit...it was hard, but I wouldn't call it dirty.

Remember, Everett was running full speed & Sproles came lunging forward & Sproles knee was just an inch off the ground (meaning he was crouching).

So, I know Everette took his head off, but it wasn't like he went flying at him purposely.

Sproles was continuing to get lower & Everett didn't have a lot of time to re-calibrate.
It's not like Sproles is a tall guy to begin with either.

To me, it was just a hard football play that deserved to be called a penalty, but I don't think it was "dirty".

I agree Sproles went low, but he beat the ball to Sproles in a big way. A punt returner looking up in the air is about as defenseless as it gets. You absolutely have to slow up once you realize the ball is not in his hands, and he did not even try. I know it is bang bang but you normally do not see that because guys realize that they have not fielded the punt a good 3 or 4 steps away. Everette never even thought about letting up.

I don't agree. It's just as much the returnees responsibility to protect himself by calling fair catch.

Brian Mitchell and Crowder both said the same thing. They have pretty good resume as returners.

Mitchell said if you are running UP to catch a punt, you have to protect yourself. He said if this would of been a routine punt with hang time, then he would shoulder more blame on Everett, but Everett was just playing football and did what he's supposed to.

He also said you are not totally defenseless as a returner because the league gives you a get out of jail free card with fair catching.

Bottom Line. It was a penalty by the book, but Sproles running up to field the punt in traffic and kneeling to receive it. He should of called fair catch.

One guy that hasn't been mentioned is Arie Kouandjio, I want to see him stay as the starter at LG moving forward.

Breeland had a bad 1st half, but I thought he redeemed himself in the second half with a sack and forced fumble.

Redskins LB Su'a Cravens said he will have an MRI to determine the severity of his biceps injury. He said he wasn't yet sure if it was torn. He said he was in pain.

Redskins linebacker Will Compton said doctors told him his major ligaments are OK. He said he'll undergo an MRI Monday. He said it might be a torn PCL.

It was good to find other ways to win, normally we don't win unless KC lights it up and Reed goes off.

Yep, I told weeks ago Lauvao better step his game up if he wants to be sure he keeps his starting job, was laughed upon (still hurts... LOL). I think Lauvao regressed since, and Kouandjio made the most of his playing time.

I thought Kujo was fairly terrible yesterday....he had a tough assignment, but I saw him get dominated in pass pro a couple times and flat out killed on run blocking. Lauvoa is better. Sullivan was decent yesterday. Maybe put Spencer Long in at LG Sullivan at Center.

I think we should slide Bree into slot coverage, see if that helps.

Keim didn't think so, neither did I

I’m sticking with a blocking theme because the Redskins did a rather solid job of it, including left guard Arie Kouandjio in his second start. The Eagles’ interior is excellent, with Bennie Logan and Fletcher Cox. Kouandjio sometimes had issues, but most of them seemed to be ones coaching and experience can help

I saw Kujo get handled a lot. I think Luavao is better....but if we say hey lets see what we have the rest of the season then I got no problem. But Kujo hasn't showed much so far. I know he was one of the disappointments in camp.

I think he did play a lot in slot coverage this week, Dunbar was often lined up outside, am I wrong?

Not in all packages, I saw him get beat and make plays playing boundry corner
