Re: The coordinators
Remember when Jeff Bostic was having that rough year in '87? He got pushed around a lot by that Giants defensive line. He was having such a rough year that Gibbs demoted him. Of course, Bostic had already proven that he was a solid Center prior to that year, but I mentioned Bostic simply because I think we have some solid guys on the line that are smart and have the potential to develop into top notch offensive linemen, but maybe they need more time in the weight room or more time at McDonald's? (Or both)

Re: The coordinators
Whether you like him or not, other teams are interested.
Rams and 49ers for now. 49ers requested HC interview with Washington OC Sean McVay, per source.

Re: The coordinators
I'm not sold on Long by any means.
I would look for a center in the draft.

Shocker its the Rams and Niners. That west coast air will make your brain foggy. ![]() If he comes with Cousins, Reed, DJax, Crowder, Garcon, Davis, and CT they might have something on offense at least. Than they will just need to hire an OC that can finish the damn drive. Seriously is it any wonder we were able to move between the 20's? Damn that is one hell of a set of pass catchers. |

Amazing group of receivers. Hard to believe we're 29th in RZ TD production, but that's also on our running game, especially in a tight box. Kinda agree that OC is the most likely culprit there, but as I posted in the KC thread, Kirk needs to shake off the yips in the red zone and take charge. The fades were not the only options on those horrid plays. Kirk seems to like them because they're low risk.

Re: The coordinators
Kouandjio will be the starter, the only reason Lauvao started is because the money he was paid. Arie has proven he can play and on year 3 he will be much improved.

Re: The coordinators
I'd for sure take a top defense. In fact, 60% of the time I'd take it every time.

Just saying I'm not sure we have our locker room guy on the offensive side of the ball.

Re: The coordinators
Gus Bradley may be headed for the most awkward demotion in NFL history
If the Schefter rumor is true we might be out of the running for Bradley before it ever began.

Re: The coordinators
Wow...I really didn't expect McVay to land a HC gig this year, but it sounds like there is deep interest......

Also our wr corp, the interested parties might want to read the fine print where it acknowledges the fact that from the 20 yard line he is purely a clueless spectator like the rest of us! |

Even Cooley as saying he'd have a serious opportunity, either now or in a near future... Don't know what's so special about him. Have to give him this offense has been pretty productive under his watch. And with, when you think about it, few superstars. I'm not sure Pierre Garçon (who I love and want to stay with us) would look as good as he does here in another offense.
