And so the Rams have their new HC: Sean McVay. The youngest coach in the NfL.

and there he goes.....also seeing Wade may be gone as well! What I am reading it looks like McVay wants him, smh

Sean was a good OC, I bet Jay takes over playcalling now

Yeah McVay wants him, but let's see what Phillips wants. I at least want Washington to interview him first.

And what Jay wants. There's still no indication that Jay intends to interview Phillips.

So does Jay promote Callahan to OC for continuity?

Pettine or bust? I still don't mind Bradley but I'm sold on Pettine more.

For Gruden's sake, it's imperative he hires an OC who was as organized as McVay. To quote a Redskins official, "Trust me, Jay needs Sean."

The Skins initially said they wanted to interview like 7 or 8 coaches and take their time, so I think there's more still to come. But they might want to think about picking up the pace.

I would be happy with either Bradley or Pettine. I still view Bradley as the most likely. Just so many ties to the organization.

Wade should be the top candidate though, by any measure. If you're going to interview 7 or 8 coaches, Wade Phillips better damn well be one of them or I have major questions.

I still wonder if that's what Callahan wants. For all we know he might like being the o-line coach. Remember he left Dallas, as the o-line coach, to come here and be the o-line coach, for a young first time o-coordinator in McVay no less. Why do that if you want to rise up the ranks again? Ever since his downfall as HC of the Raiders he really seems to have found his niche as being an excellent o-line coach.

Not sure who that official is but reading the tea leaves it seems like Jay Gruden's ass is on the line if he doesn't pick his next o and d-coordinators wisely.
