NFL and medical marijuana: A Q&A with former Eagles OL Todd Herremans - Philadelphia Eagles Blog- ESPN
Herremans: It really is a sad topic. One in seven NFL players leaves the league with some sort of struggle with opioids. That is a horrific stat. I have seen teammates scouring the locker room looking for anyone with an opiate they could take just to make them stop shaking and feel normal so they can go out and practice. I only had a couple experiences firsthand seeing this in the locker room, and it's because they were people I was close to, but it was enough to know that it's a league-wide issue. You would think the NFL would be more open to an alternative?

Re: Super Bowl 51 Week
Half of the league will go hard after Kirk just looking at who is listed at QB on their rosters.

Kirk should have been the MVP.Jimmy Graham dropped a perfect pass from Kirk in the endzone, then Graham had a ball go thru his hands in the red zone for an int.Kirk did throw a terrible pass in the red zone that should have been intercepted but wasnt, was no where near the receiver, but thats what you get with Kirk.

Jason Garrett named coach of the year | ProFootballTalk
Kinda happy bout this cause he ain't great and this keeps him there. Team would be nowhere without marinelli...that guy is great, he works miracles with very avg talent.

Re: Super Bowl 51 Week
The HOF basically has become like the Pro Bowl. It's watered down garbage. Jerry Jones?? That is laughable to me. Jones had to be talked out of drafting Manziel lol. He's a great businessman but Jimmy Johnson is mostly responsible for the success in the early 90's. Once he left the team went downhill.
Kurt Warner?? Not a HOF'er. He didn't have enough seasons where he was dominant. If you look at his career he had probably 4 seasons where he played at a high level. Same with Terrell Davis. Great player but his career was way too short. The rest of the guys I really don't have an issue with.. |

I'm not a big fan of owners getting in the HOF. What do they do that merits them going in the HOF? Jones contributions to me are more in league matters. And Cooke didn't even hire BB, that was Edward Bennett Williams. And he certainly wasn't picking players, that's not the owners job anyway. Should owners go in just cause they hire good people and get out of the way? Like Cooke did? Or like Eddie D. did in SF? I don't think that's worthy of being in the HOF. Jacoby was a great player for a long period of time. On dominant o-lines. It's not happening for him and it's a shame. |
