Re: Super Bowl 51 Week
The HOF basically has become like the Pro Bowl. It's watered down garbage. Jerry Jones?? That is laughable to me. Jones had to be talked out of drafting Manziel lol. He's a great businessman but Jimmy Johnson is mostly responsible for the success in the early 90's. Once he left the team went downhill.
Kurt Warner?? Not a HOF'er. He didn't have enough seasons where he was dominant. If you look at his career he had probably 4 seasons where he played at a high level. Same with Terrell Davis. Great player but his career was way too short. The rest of the guys I really don't have an issue with.. |

I'm not a big fan of owners getting in the HOF. What do they do that merits them going in the HOF? Jones contributions to me are more in league matters. And Cooke didn't even hire BB, that was Edward Bennett Williams. And he certainly wasn't picking players, that's not the owners job anyway. Should owners go in just cause they hire good people and get out of the way? Like Cooke did? Or like Eddie D. did in SF? I don't think that's worthy of being in the HOF. Jacoby was a great player for a long period of time. On dominant o-lines. It's not happening for him and it's a shame. |
