Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
At least Snyder found a way to make sure people don't forget how much of a cluster$%^$ of an owner he is. Man did he an Allen play this totally wrong.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Need to get another team other than sf interesting in a trade. I think Chicago could be a team...
I would imagine the jets and Cleveland would be out because cousins wouldn't sign long term.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
ESPN is reporting that Kirk has already made up his mind and that he wants to play in SF... O well fuck it, I knew this would happen when he went to that Atlanta game, that was too fishy. Hopefully we get romo now and the number 2 pick, if not we are a 4-12 team again.

FO isn't quite sold on Kirk. His stats improved markedly, but he folds when things get hot. I want him to stay, but I can't really blame the front office sitting on its hands either. The defense needs to be rebuilt and we might be looking at losing our best wideouts as well. The running game is not so strong either. Keeping Kirk might not bring us to the promised land if the supporting cast isn't there. |

Kirk stays or everything will unravel I think. If Gruden gets canned we will be at Cleveland depths. I just don't see any good coaching talent wanting to come here. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
I think we need to settle down a little bit, or some of us might die of a heart attack before the start of next season.
I think one thing's for sure: KC will be tagged today. And then we won't know were he's going until a few days before the draft. And if he's not traded at that point we won't know if he plays under the tag or a long term deal until July 15th. That's a lot of time to speculate. And again from a business standpoint I can understand how this board would want to use the non-exclusive tag to ask the other teams how much KC's worth. If he's not willing to accept anything under what he considers to be his price, they have nothing to lose: -either somebody offers the price he's asking and they can match it, knowing they're not overpaying -either nobody offers the price he's asking and they can use that to negotiate a deal just a little cheaper before July 15th We are a talking about more money than most of us we'll make in our entire life, this can take some time to be settled.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
BTW, I was right about the compensation, if you listen to the 4th hour of yesterday (27th) Cooley and Kevin's, you'll hear them discuss what would the compensation for Kirk be, and they both think nobody would give up two 1st rounders:

For the right price, Kirk will sign in DC. But if he's going to be traded the only place he'll sign a long-term deal is SF. Chicago being a very distant second. So SF is really the only viable trade partner
