I think Reed and Crowder made a ton of clutch catches. I'm not minimizing Garcon, just saying last season we had alot of options. This year there will be options, some untested though.

I'm POSITIVE Reed has the ability to do it... I just worry about availability.

You're right about Crowder. I did forget that in addition to being a tough lil' SOB, he was slippery as hell. I haven't seen someone take that many bubble screens for a first down in a long ass time.

Reed needs to stay healthy! He sustains multiple concussions next season he will be toast.

I'm a bit concerned about having Reed be our primary pass catcher...but, we do have some WR talent.

Maurice Harris and this kid Thompson at WR might not be bad options to go with Crowder Doctson and Grant/player to be named later. I'm not freaking out. Now if Kirk leaves and we don't do shit on defense then fuck it we suck

And in non-front office doom news, looks like the team is making a push to keep DJax.

Can not believe PG is getting 16 million. That is just ridiculous. Good for him if he can get it.

Perhaps driven by the efforts of the Eagles and Cowboys to sign him. Plus the Skins just lost out to the Jaguars for Calais Campbell which may have freed up some FA dollars they had planned to spend on the DL.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings

I will never say we shouldn't try to sign DJax, but stop bidding once the price is over 12-13M, (basically prorating 16M for the 4 games you expect he will miss or be limited in)

DJax just posted something in his IG account, that makes it look like he's headed to Tampa.

Fine by me. He is an excellent player but I'd like to see us go for younger players.

Reed an Crowder did make some clutch catches as well. However, Garcon had been the most consistent. He caught almost everything thrown his way, and some of those catches required him to be physical in order to keep possession. Not sure if Crowder has the strength to be as physical, we'll see this year.

I think Doctson would be looked at as Garcon's replacement, not Crowder. Of course health is a concern until he shows otherwise, but imo, he did enough last year in his limited action to say he will make an impact.
