Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
Brunell..... again, top passer rating in the NFC
Portis gets one-3 TDs, enough said and the last one goes to L.A.V.A.R~!!--did what he needed to and got on the field |

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
So many to go around, but if I had to choose one I'd go with LaVar.
It was really great to see him flying around again making plays. As for the offense, what else can you say? These guys just keep on improving week after week. Brunell is playing out of his mind and so is Moss. They're both on track for career numbers. Portis finally got the monkey off his back with 3 TDs, and hopefully the offensive line got their mojo back in paving the way for those 3 scores. Cooley deserves an honorable mention as well. Also nice to see Patten getting involved with 2-56. This is really a dangerous offense that has it's share of weapons. |

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
I'll give it to the offensive line. Brunell had all day to throw, and the running backs (Portis, Betts, Cartwright) all had ridiculously wide lanes to run through. I'm surprised Earnest Byner didn't strap on a helmet and get out there himself

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
I voted other cuz for me it's O-Line all the way because they made it happen for Brunnel, Portis, and Betts to all have great days. They jacked up the 49er's front seven to lead the team to amassing 457 yards of offense. plus making it possible to go 8 for 8 in the redzone with 7 scores being tds. that's absolutely incredible no matter who's defense you r playing against.

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
I voted for Clinton. Just for wearing the boom cover and glasses earlier in the week and then coming out and pulling out 3 tds. Honorable mention to the O-line of course for opening the holes.

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
It is hard to give out a game ball for this game because the skins were in a whole nother leage then the 49ers and we went out and won a game we where supposed to win. So im going to give the game ball to the Redskins managment and coaching staff for finaly getting on the peices together and puting a contender on the field every week

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
Gave my ball to the entire team (though it wasn't an option), but voted for Arrington cause he was in on 9 tackles, 7 w/ 2 assists. Great to see him out there today making a difference. I did see him overrun a few plays, but he seems more determined than ever to make a difference on the field and play smart. Man our defense is awesome. Washington, Marshall, Taylor, Springs, Arrington, etc etc etc. Great showing and team effort today.

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
portis on offense, arrington on defense. brunell gets special mention too. if i had to vote for one, i'd vote for portis though. he really had a good day today. arrington was good too, i was happy just to see him get some pt, even if he didn't make a tackle i'd be happy.

Re: Game ball Skins-49ers
I had to vote for Arrington. The guy who wasn't good enough to play in the last two games sure made an impact in this one!
