I see Jay Gruden's man crush on Ryan Grant raised it's ugly head again. If just knowing all the WR positions without having NFL ability is enough for Gruden, he should just sign Stephen Hawking instead. Hawking could learn the entire playbook in a brief history of time. Then he could be the nominal backup for every position.

There really does seem to be something with this. While I understand he CAN run every route and play all WR positions, he consistently does NOT deliver in games! And maybe now with new receivers that can hopefully block more so than Jackson at least, when Grant comes into the game it's not a 98% chance of a running play like the announcers of games used to joke about.
