I also agree with your last thought Matty, Fat Rob had potential but I don't think he's athletic enough to make guys miss, or a banger enough that guys will bounce off of him, and he lacks the vision to quickly ID the hole, or to wait patiently for the hole to open.
It seems rb's can be found in the later rounds, which begs the question as to why it has been so hard for us to find a decent one. Hopefully Perine will develop into that guy. Edit: Chico AP would be a definite upgrade, but he'd also be taking valuable reps away from guys like Perine. He's clearly not willing to split carries with anybody. In a wasted year like this one of the few good things will be our young guys getting valuable PT.
