He also has one of the worst RZ % over that 4 year span, we are in the bottom 10 over the years in RZ scoring, that won't beat many teams

Our best receiver is Ryan Grant. He shouldn't be anywhere near a starting lineup. How Gruden was able to keep this team competitive up until the last two weeks has been nothing short of amazing. He's literally fielding a team of third stringers and practice squad guys. Kirk Cousins has been the only constant starter throughout the season.
Gruden is playing with a deck stacked against him but I feel he is responsible for stacking the deck. During his tenure it is pretty obvious the Redskins are on the wrong end of the injury reports, it is starting to become more than coincidence, something isn't right. What it is I do not know, but it appears to be more than just bad luck.

I got an idea. Let's call three consecutive fades.

To be fair, they've gotten a bit better this year. Cousins has improved in his ability to extend plays.

But the tendency to use Cousins as a runner around the goalline is scary. It's going to get him hurt. Those read option calls can be effective but I feel like Jay uses them as a crutch.

Doc is a good option down there but we just don't have the weapons right now. His calls in crucial situations are what kills me, the fact that we are like 30% on 3rd and short is unreal.

Because Gruden doesn't have the power to hire his defensive coordinator. Bruce Allen does all the hiring and firing. He may have Gruden involved in the interview process, but Allen ultimately decides who he wants in there coaching. That is all on Bruce Allen, NOT on Jay Gruden.

The Redskins are near the bottom in that time span converting 3rd or 4th and 2 or less, that will lead to issues in the red zone.

Again I'd rather have Jerry Jones run my team

I absolutely do put a lot of blame on Jay Gruden for a number of things. I don't believe Jay Gruden is benign to criticism at all. And ultimately, if the Redskins were able to bring in a GM who actually has power and is competent enough to use said power, then that guy decides Gruden's fate, and picks the new head coach, who in turn must be able to pick a competent coaching staff. That is task number one for that head coach. If he fails at this, he's going to fail at being a head coach even before you get to X's and O's. I am definitely down with that. All I'm saying is, you can fire Jay Gruden, replace him with Vince Lombardi, and it's going to be the same issues as long as Bruce Allen has the final say in everything.

I haven't seen anything to brag about with Jerry Jones. Yes, the Cowboys have had a couple really good seasons in the past decade. They have also had several losing seasons and 8-8 seasons.

They are 20 games over 500 in the last 10 years, I'd take that.

He also knows how to build a team, they have a ton of young talent at key positions.

The injuries have hurt but last week was a non competitive team that looked like they didn't want to be there, coming off a long layoff. I've never seen a defense give up 350 yards in a half in an NFL game. Last week's effort was inexcusable, just like the Saints game was.
I can understand wanting him gone after the Chargers game.
But after the Saints game? His team came a few mistakes away from beating one of the best teams in the NFL while being one the (if not THE) most injured teams in the league and you want the HC gone at that time ?

If you’re wishing for a new owner why Jones instead of Kraft? Might as well go for the best in the biz vs a guy who would make you just a little better than you are now.

In a 16 game season, that averages out to probably around 9-7 each year. That's pretty much what we already have.

It has taken Jones how long to build said team? And even so, the team might still miss the playoffs this year. Honestly, Jones, no thanks.
