Re: Black Monday!
Jon Gruden is expected to be hired as Raiders HC. In fact ESPN even has an article where they say "their employee" is leaving ESPN to join the Oakland Raiders:
https://deadspin.com/espn-our-employ...oac-1821686628 How does that work with the Rooney Rule? And what is even the point of that rule, when in the end, NFL owners are going to decide to hire WHOEVER they want, be it a minority candidate or what not. I think it is even more offensive that a rule exists that states a team must interview a minority even when they know they aren't going to hire them.

Re: Black Monday!
Rumor has it he’ll hire Gunther as his DC and probably take his son the powerlifter “Joe Rock”.

Re: Black Monday!
Let's see what Jon Gruden does after being away from coaching for a few years. If he comes back with some success, then you wonder if that might entice guys like Jimmy Johnson or Bill Cowher to come back to coaching? I know Johnson is getting up there in age, not sure how old Cowher is.

Re: Black Monday!
Im hearing 2 Philly coaches are being interviewed for HC position..."Flip" the QB Coach who coached up Wentz and may the Schwartz (DC) be with you.
This could be great for the NFC East!

Re: Black Monday!
Well, so was Joe Gibbs, but he did come back. Not saying those guys would be successful, but Joe did have some, very minor, success in his second stint. JJ is about 74, so yeah, he probably wouldn't come back. But Cowher is like 60 years old, he probably would come back for a handful of seasons if interested.

Re: Black Monday!
As long as those two stay out of the NFC East. I wouldn't doubt if Schwartz doesn't interview with the Giants.
