NFL Network will have live coverage of Reese's Senior Bowl practices beginning at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as exclusive coverage of the game on Jan. 27 at 2:30 p.m. ET.

1. Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield continues to show people that when it comes to timing, touch and anticipation, he has all the stuff. That's where he separates himself from other QBs. He hit a couple skinny posts where he threw the ball well before the receiver broke and the pass was right on the money.

He was the last Senior Bowl participant to arrive here in Mobile, getting into town on Tuesday afternoon before heading over to practice, and he showed once again that he's a gamer. His competitiveness shines in settings like this one.

The big thing to watch with Mayfield will continue to be what he does off the field. Can he convince people that he be the CEO of the program? Interviews with NFL teams will be a big deal for him this week. -- Bucky Brooks
CEO of a program, how in the fuck does that tell me he can play NFL QB?

Folks Im been prepping myself checking out QB information...in my best Jon Gruden voice "this guy" Mayfield is the best QB in the draft.

Im officially in the camp of "If we lose Cousins, draft Mayfield."

Re: Looking at the draft.

Will Hernandez, Baker Mayfield, Darrius Guice, and Da'Ron Payne would look great in a Redskins jersey.

Re: Looking at the draft.

Anybody else been watching the Senior Bowl practices on NFL Network? Check it out. It's entertaining and informative.

To my eyes, Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen have really stood out.

Mayfield is a very accurate passer who leads receivers beautifully. He can throw accurate lasers to WR's in traffic but he also shows good touch when needed. He throws people open and he also throws a good, but not great, deep ball. He's just over 6' but he is solidly built. He just looks like a natural to me.

Allen has incredible arm strength. He throws an outstanding deep ball. He can escape pressure and throw accurately on the run. He also has ideal size at almost 6'6" and 240 lbs. He's not as advanced as Mayfield but he has a sky-high ceiling, IMHO.

Both QB's are athletic and they are confident.

Bucky Brooks Mock Draft 1.0: Broncos, Jags among 6 to pick QB - NFL.com

This has Allen at 13.

It appears most mocks have us taking a QB.... Makes you wonder of these scouts and draft guys already know something we dont.

Didn't see this post. But i'm the type of football/draft nerd that watches that stuff.

I wasn't impressed with Baker's accuracy or Allen during the practices. Thought they both missed some gimme throws. Allen was a little better in the game. After a slow 1st half stepped it up in the second half.

I like Baker as prospect. Posted about him earlier. But I expected him to show much better then he did at the Senior Bowl practices and game.
Maybe it was just the portions that I saw...but he didn't live up to my expectations or to the reports I saw from the Senior Bowl practices. I thought both were easily out played by Mike White and Kyle Lauletta. Some of that could be due to coaching...i thought O'Brien and Ryan schemes were just better imho BUT those QBs still had to make the throws and they did.

These are the players that flashed to me....they span the gamut from top prospect to "late round" picks.......

Gesicki TE Norte Dame
Blanden FS UVA
Reaves S
Henderson FS Hawaii
OLB - Ogbonnia Okoronkwo

I agree. Baker Mayfield did not look good in the game.
I think it is easy to look good in practice. You know you are not going to get hit.
In a live game in a pro system I thought he looked slow and out of sync.
I really liked the tall skinny QB WKU Mike White. Looked relaxed and much more accurate in hooking on the long throw to LSU WR, who also looked good.

Re: Looking at the draft.

All of the QBs in this draft have some serious questions. Glad we don't have to hang our season on a rookie QB. We can draft a guy this year or next year to learn for a couple seasons first.

I know and they even missed some throws in practice.

Yup, Mike White and Kyle Lualetta both looked good and they're supposedly mid to late round prospects would love to see either of them picked up by Jay.

This post is still 100% accurate, minus our qb situation now being settled. The other 3 would be 100% perfect for our team. Give me the beef or a rb to run behind the beef.

Definitely need a rb in one of 1st 2 rounds now, now that we don't have 3rd rounder.

BPA in 1st round and best RB in 2nd round would be my preference.

But The Guice in the 1st round would be A Okay by me.

Re: Looking at the draft.

I think we should trade back into the 20's, add more picks and grab a WR in the 1st, maybe Ridley or Sutton?

I'm not sold on any RB's other than Barkley, I actually wouldn't mind trading up in the 1st to grab him because he has that IT factor but that wont happen.

Scratch Sony Michel from anyone's wish list- he fumbles once every 54 carries
