Until the next guy says I want that. Much like what happened with the rookies if guys are losing money to one player they will want a cap.

Re: Around the NFL Off season thread 1.0

Teams have always been able to structure deals to fit their cap whether its front loading or back loading deals. That’s all the Jets would be doing here

If I'm Kirk I go to Minnesota, may not make as much but u can win right away. The JEST have money to spend but that roster is weak. Denver is old at key positions and will have to cut players

2 different threads? You're being nice... That shit's spreading all across the board...

If Kirk Cousins wants to win, some teams just don't make sense - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN

Agree with this. Outside Minnesota and Jacksonville, the other teams aren't really ideal for "winning". You might add the Broncos on that list but they don't have the cap room really to sign him and I doubt he's going to take a team friendly deal. So if it's about "winning", it comes down to two teams.

I've always liked Keim, he does a good job of summing up Kirk's options here.

Doug Pederson: If Carson Wentz were healthy, he would’ve been Super Bowl MVP – ProFootballTalk

Possibly but dont take away from Foles moment, that dude was amazing in the SB, maybe the best QB performance we have seen in years. Like I've said all along, its the system they have and with the recent report of Wentz wearing a brace the rest of his career I don't think I'd let Foles leave just yet.

But the whole point of prison is to rehab a person (and while I think most of the time the system fails), so if prison really did rehab him and his son/caretaker are ok with him trying to establish a relationship I don't have a problem with it. I'm sure they won't welcome him with open arms initially (as is their right) but stranger things have happened.

I hope he is rehabilitated. I hope he is truly sorry. If he is keep your distance and send him every penny you ever make anonymously. I guess im looking at it from the perspective of ...how can you try to kill someone and than be like hey sorry little man.... it is beyond any sort of reconnection at this point. No matter what he actually feels inside. And to even express the idea of building a relationship again screams this guy is as nuts now as he was than.

It'd be a start. I'm just looking at it from the perspective of someone who has a disabled family member and has seen the toll it takes on their parents/caretakers. His caretaker probably appreciates any help she can get, so it wouldn't be hard to imagine her saying yes to any financial help Carruth could give. But this whole conversation is moot if neither of them want him in their lives, which is totally understandable given the circumstances.

The #Chiefs will receive a package of draft picks from the #Rams in exchange for CB Marcus Peters. They are focusing on the final part of the deal right now. But it’s getting done.
