THIS is how you say goodbye to a team. Huge difference between Alex and Kirk. Kirk's goodbye was full of shit with the "oh the team didn't want me" crap. I'm glad Alex Smith is here. Fuck you Kirk. We upgraded!

Drew Brees got 3mil less a year than KC. My first reaction was that's insane if that's what the market thought about these 2 QBs for the next 2-3 years.

Then I saw he was offered 30mil somewhere else, but turned it down to stay in NO...

First of all, Fuck Kirk Cousins. He is the first franchise quarterback, that I know of, that left his team. Greedy asshole. With that said, we could have paid him, the same thing Minnesota paid him, and saved money. The way I see it, to replace Fuller, your looking at 11 million a year. So combine that with Smiths salary, we would have saved money.

If he was truly going for max money he would have went to NY. Either way he’s played it perfectly and may be leading the way for fully guaranteed contracts in the future vs the bogus deals that are given out now.

When Brees got paid he was one of the top 5 qbs in the league. He has redone his deal more than once for the team.

I’m sure the Vikings are well aware of how their cap projects over the next 3 years. This is hardly a deal that will handcuff them.

I'm still blown some team offered him a lot of money. I thought teams generally don't overpay in free agency regardless of talent.

If he tears an acl game 1 they are screwed for 3 years. Granted injuries are what they are, but they better make their oline better.
