Yeah the chart at RB makes no sense at all: Kelley first, Thompson and Bibbs second, Perine and Marshall 3rd, Guice and Carter 4th?
IMHO coaches use these early unofficial depth charts to motivate players.
A 2nd round rookie who allegedly had character issue? Put him last and make him earn that starter spot so he doesn't spend camp believing it belongs to him because of where he was drafted.

Don't know how much truth there's to that, but I feel like this would be a good use of these. Also avoids having a locker room of veterans hating on a rookie who would have been given someone else's spot too easily.
