Proof This Team is Cursed
Quote:
Whether I wanted him gone or not: his injury and all the coincidences it has to the past show that this team is cursed. All those coincidences are eerie. Just like Sean Taylor, losing Griffin when we had Seattle on the ropes, Guice this year, it’s always something major that sets us back. It’s been cursed since we left RFK and the American Indians cursed the team for their anger over the name and logo. You can bet on that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Proof This Team is Cursed

And always at the worst time. I remember Griffin going down like it was yesterday. We had Seattle in the ropes and we were on the move again. We were having a magical year...Then, suddenly everything was lost and we’ve never recovered. This just an example. Even McVay. Watch us be the Browns when Bellechek went to New England. And not having depth to step in for injured players is a sign of poor managment and second rate player acquisition. Thats a big reason Smith got hurt because Wash had to resort to nabbing players of off the streets instead of having quality back ups to come in for their starting linemen.

We’re cursed with the never ending turnstile of bad management, and poor organizational leaders. No real GMs, Cerrato, Allen, Snyder, Spurrier, Zorn, the list goes on and on. Yet we let the likes of McVay, Norv, Gregg WIlliams, Shannahan walk. We finally had a competent GM in place named Scot M and that was handled like another blunder. Redskins leadership is really good at creating blunders and messes and dysfunction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The fact that people find it so outlandish that a self professed alcoholic who lost other jobs due to drinking was fired yet again due to drinking is fucking hilarious. And yes the team handled it about as poorly as can be. Doesn't change the fact SM is a drunk. Good dude by all accounts, but a drunk nonetheless. |

The long and short of it is, the Redskins were a class organization from front office down to head coach, and they found quality players. That has never been duplicated since. By far, Gruden has probably been the most successful head coach since Gibbs, because he's put his team in a position to be a winning team each season, save for the first season. So, how do you break a curse? Time and patience.
