As everybody should know by now, a Tuesday after a win usually means a day off for the players. Which means Montae was probably not the only one out drinking that night. And fighting a guy ranks pretty low on the grand scheme of things, esp. compared to Foster's alleged transgressions.

From the stories out it sounds a lot worse than two guys trading a few punches.

According to police, an investigation showed Nicholson assaulted the male victim, and Maggiore struck the female victim with a bottle and also struck the male victim.

Police say Maggiore was charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery and remains in prison on no bond. According to police, the victims were treated at a hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

That just sounds to me like the victims got beat up pretty bad.

In Virginia, malicious wounding can be a very serious injury or something as slight as a breaking of the skin.

Battery is an unwanted offensive touching, which can be a punch with injuries, but doesn't require injuries.

Without knowing more, the seriousness of the injuries is unknowable simply from the charges.

Again no idea, but a charge of malicious wounding no matter the severity carries a presumption against bond.

While simple battery no matter the severity doesn't have a statutory presumption on bond.

Edit: Well, the video is pretty indefensible. In light of new information, I retract my previous statement. Whatever punishment the NFL/Redskins deem appropriate I am fine with.

Idk, if the Redskins can do some dumb shit like sign Reuben Foster immediately after getting arrested again I definitely wouldn't rule out bringing Nicholson back.

The only thing we are good on next year is left tackle, right guard, rb, and interior d line.

We need everything else. Hamilton did ball out at ilb but we still need another.

...and a ton of salary cap space tied up on injured players or players that get injured when the wind blows.
