Whether it’s a virtue or a flaw, Snyder is incredibly loyal to “his guys.” Expecting him to fire Allen is unrealistic. The best we can hope for is that he’s moved outside of football ops and this could very well be step 1 towards that.

If Bruce is moving away from football operations and going to focus exclusively on the business side of things (like the stadium deal), then Lafemina was no longer necessary. And From what I’ve read, Bruce is pretty connected and involved with the stadium deal. While we all want him GONE, Snyder could have felt it would set the deal back too much if he let Allen go.
