I found some modeling that had projections of 15 feet with pictures. Those doom and gloom projections are all over the place. Not sure but I think the National Geographic has printed a lot of them with projections of sea level rise to the extreme.

From NAT GEO.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says we can expect the oceans to rise between 11 and 38 inches (28 to 98 centimeters) by 2100, enough to swamp many of the cities along the U.S. East Coast. More dire estimates, including a complete meltdown of the Greenland ice sheet, place sea level rise to 23 feet (7 meters), enough to submerge London.

There is a mention of up to 23 feet!

Considering ocean levels have risen a foot over the past hundred years, the "doom and gloom" concern is real. They are rising, and will continue to rise until dramatic changes are made. It might not be a bad idea to by some land in places that could some day be beach front property

How do you know they will continue to rise?

No, I haven't.

What do my living arrangements have to do with what the sea level is going to be in the future?

I didn't mean it literally. You questioned how BigHairedA know if the sea level will continue to rise. This question gave me an impression that you haven't been following news pertaining to climate changes.

I probably should not have said anything in first place as I don't want to hijack this thread. Back to the point of this thread - there is no way Redskins will win 13 games, simply because of the QB position. If we have had everything beside QB set in offense then there could be a chance; the reality is we have no WRs & TE (reliable, that is) who can help our QB.

I don't. I've never made that assertion.
