KC was getting lots of stats but not wining games -especially by himself. The management felt he Wasn’t the long-term QB answer. Then they kept him through franchising for more and more money - WITHOUT A BACKUP PLAN TO REPLACE HIM (you know, draft a promising QB and develop him). No backup was developed.over those years. We CAN NOT KEEP OUR BEST TALENT. Either because we don’t recognize the talent we have, or we mismanage it. True key to winning is home-growing talent and riding it. We let our home-grown talent go, then hire over-priced FA, who then cruise through here getting the big money for min effort.
