There still are kids that like playing the actual game instead of the video version of it. I don't see how anyone can expect an active kid to stay cooped up in an apartment or house all day long. I bet there are plenty of cooped up kids driving their parents nuts.

Also, that is such a Boomer comment, today I see more kids involved in youth sports more then ever. Are all of them super athletic, no but they get out there and play.

The only difference between kids today and of yesterdays is the video games exist if they exist back then you been playing them too instead of Marbles Go Fish and Old Maid.

Kids schedules now a days are insane I don't know one parent that isn't running crazy.

Why is it in this time of over the top political correctness it is ok to generalize and put people down because of their advanced age? Since all media is biased one way or another I weight what I see with my own two eyes above what I read on news sites or see on the news. Of course I am a middle aged conservative white male, the most hated species in the USA.

1) You're right there are more out there............but even more inside and not out there.

2) For many that is a reality, ...that is the truth of today's kids . Wife and two daughters are all school teachers and know as fact the the only times some of their students get outside time is at school.

3) Wrong there were video games back then ...I know I bought "Pong" for my Dad and hooked it up to his "tube "TV. All my kids grew up on Nintendo and Mario and they are 39,36 and 32 respectively

4) Yes, you're right .Yet it was that way when my wife and I had our three kids and we both worked it's called sacrifice and you find ways to make it work for the best of the kids.
