Re: In memory of our REDSKINS
The team already said they're not wearing head-to-toe gold when Nike tried to make them wear those trash color rush uniforms.

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS
The owner also said he was never changing the name. The league said no team could br forced to be featured on Hard Knocks. Point is, Nike is paying the league a lot of money. If they want the Skins in all gold and make enough of a stink, they will win out in the end. Same if they want the Giants in all Blue like a collection of Smurfs.

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS
With the new uniforms I hope we have logos on the sleeves, also hope we have an alternate jersey so 3 instead of 2. Time for us to get with the new age

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS
Let’s not be too hard on Snyder for breaking his “never change the name” promise. Here are his other (unspoken) “nevers” —
I’ll never draft a #1 who isn’t interested in hanging around with me at my mansion. I’ll never hire an executive who disagrees with my decisions. I’ll never hire a PR person who speaks honestly to the press. I’ll never get over my giddy delusion that I’m in charge of the 1980s era team. I’ll never believe that we’re more than one draft or one hire away from being a playoff team. I will never admit that I’m responsible for turning this franchise into an embarrassment. If Snyder won’t sell, then the next best thing is to break him, and this rebranding (whatever you think about the cultural shifts that led to it) may do that. I still have a worry that he will f up the rebranding, but let’s keep the pressure on. For me that means, minimally (1) burgundy and gold, (2) “Red” in the name. There’s already a Warriors franchise, and personally I’d rather be Wolves fan than a Tails fan. Better to howl when we score than . . . shake our butts?

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS
Per Yahoo sports
As it pertains to the Red Wolves trademark fight between Arkansas State and the USL, spoke to one of the parties involved and they haven’t heard from the #NFL, Dan Snyder or anyone else in the Washington franchise. Doesn’t mean they won’t engage later. But that’s where it is now. This is leading me to believe it won't be Redwolves

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS
So back to the memories theme of the thread...
The two highlights from RG3 that I think of first: *The first TD pass against New Orleans. I have a picture of this in a plaque on my gym wall. ![]() The TD run to seal the game vs. Minnesota.

Re: In memory of our REDSKINS
That 2012 season was the funnest year of Redskins football I've ever had. I'll always love RG3 for it
