Re: Trevor or the Division?
I usually have a hard on for the chance to draft a top 10 franchise QB .. but I need to hear and see more about Trevor Lawrence.
Clemson seems to play out of the shotgun and not a pro style offense. Lawrence has some of the best wideout playmakers in college ball. Is Lawrence reading defenses and going through progressions .. or is he sitting back and throwing to his open primary/1st read? Is he playing from under center and needing to drop back/plant/throw or is he in college style shotgun with a spread offense with elite talent and just catching shotgun hikes and tossing it to the open guy?

Re: Trevor or the Division?
I don't know a lot about Trevor. Seen him play a few times, but I don't really follow Clemson. I'm not sure this team will be in a position to draft him anyway, so I'm not sure it matters much. There are 12 other teams with the same or worse record at this point. I don't see this team having the worst record - the number 1 draft pick - when this season is all said and done.
Wouldn't it be funny though, if the WFT went hard after Dak Prescott in the offseason. A big F U to Jerry... I think it would be great. Not likely, but it could be done. He's going to be the highest paid QB when he gets his contract, it's just a matter of who is going to pony up the $$$. |
