Let's not get carried away w/ Heineken. He certainly played well yesterday. Dropped a few dimes and can do the basics, unlike Haskins. But I think if he has to start and play an entire game from the start it may not go well. Smith really isn't any better at this point, he just has experience. We don't have a QB and will have to address the position after the season.
Oh yeah definitely. I'm not sure anybody would think otherwise. Alex Smith is one of the most amazing sports stories I've ever witnessed, and he actually played quite well in some games, but we know he's not the future, and we need a starting QB next year.
